JANET SO 本是一位網球家長，每天都會接送家中小朋友到網球場訓練，是名副其實的 Court Side Parent,  陪伴子女在網球場日曬雨淋，一起成長。

JANET CHAU is a tennis parent.  Like many other parents, she takes her child to the tennis court for training every day.   She is a true COURT SIDE PARENT,  been scorched by the sun and grew along the tennis pathway with her young child.

這幾年在球場上看到及聽到的，看到一大群青少年網球員努力奮鬥，為了自己的夢想及嗜好，付出的堅持和努力，血和汗，都不比其他青年運動員少，卻還是打不入缺賽圈，在網球的賽制下，現實就是殘酷的，冠軍只有一位.，Top 10 亦只有十個位。

What Janet has seen and heard on the court in the past few years is that a large group of young tennis players are working hard, whether to improve or to win.  They have put in as much persistence and effort,  blood and sweat no less than other young athletes,  but most of them are still struggling in the qualifying round.  Reality is, under the tennis competition system,  there is only 1 Championship, and 10 places for Top 10 players.  

JANET 痛心看到有很多未能打出成績的好球員，他們所付出的努力都被抹煞或未被看見。

這一群網球員的小心願 - 能在網球比賽裡面拿一席位，是非常值得重視的。

JANET is sad to see that there are many good players, who are not listed, and their efforts are erased or unseen.  The wishes of these tennis players - to get a place in tennis competitions, is worth our attention.

在網球界這個競爭激烈的尖子制度之下，JANET 希望能夠有一小小角落去幫助這一群年輕球員，亦為大家帶來更多定期比賽及其他相關活動 。

In the highly competitive and elite tennis world,  JANET hopes to build a small group to help these young players, brings in regular competitions and other activities to everyone.

JANET 因此而成立了 ONE SPORTS HONG KONG 這個網球社群，定期舉辦國際認可的 UTR 小型比賽，除了為香港網球員 (不論是小童，青少年，及成年人) 提供更多比賽機會外，更希望提升香港青少年球員的技術水平，增強他們在比賽項目裡面的自信，同時擴闊他們的國際視野。

Because of the mentioned reasons, JANET has established ONE SPORTS HONG KONG, a tennis community and information platform to regularly host UTR competitions.  In addition to providing more competition opportunities for tennis players in Hong Kong (young children, teenagers, or adults), she also hopes to enhance the technical level, and players' confidence in competition events, and to broaden their international tennis horizons.

這就是成立 ONE SPORTS HONG KONG 的原因。
